The City of South Lebanon provides utility services of water, sanitary sewer, and trash collection.  To begin utility services, within the corporation limits, a deposit of $175.00 is required along with the completion of the utility application form.  The South Lebanon Utilities Department is located at 10 North High St.

If you are moving into one of the following subdivisions: Auburn Grove, Stonebrook, Vista Pointe, River’s Edge, Wynstead, or The Villages of Rivers Bend (The Homestead, Grants Settlement, Fredericks Stand, Grant’s Frederick), please contact Warren County Water & Sewer Department at (513) 695-1377 to begin your utility services.  Once the water and sewer services have been established, please contact the South Lebanon Utilities Department at (513) 494-2296 to begin trash collection service.  The stated subdivisions are subject to Warren County water rates and South Lebanon sanitary sewer & trash collection rates.  Although South Lebanon provides sanitary sewer service, and trash collection, one bill will be generated from Warren County for all three services.

Rates for Water Usage:

Ordinance 2021-45

Customers inside Corporation Boundaries (MINUS AREA SERVED PER AGREEMENT WITH WARREN CO. -RESOLUTION #2021-10) For the first 3,000 gallons or part thereof used in any one month, the rate is $32.37 for each single family residence or each dwelling unit.  Any amount used in excess of 3,000 gallons will be charged $3.98 per 1,000 gallons.

Customers inside Corporation Boundaries served per agreement with Warren Co. -Resolution #2021-10 are billed at a base rate of $32.37 for the first 3,000 gallons.  Any amount used in excess of 3,000 gallons will be charged $5.73 per 1,000 gallons.

Customers outside Corporation boundaries are billed at a base rate of $51.02 for the first 3,000 gallons.  Any amount used in excess of 3,000 gallons will be charged $5.61 per 1,000 gallons.

Customers in Cedars are billed at a base rate of $35.36 for the first 3,000 gallons.  Any amount in excess of 3,000 gallons will be charged $5.60 per 1,000 gallons.

 

Rate for Sanitary Sewer Usage:

Ordinance 2022-03

The monthly sanitary sewer collection rate for customers in the City, but billed through the Warren County Water & Sewer Department is $37.50 per month for the first 3,000 gallons.  Any amount used in excess of 3,000 gallons will be billed $2.78 per 1,000 gallons.

The monthly sanitary sewer collection rate for individually metered customers shall be $34.43 per month for the first 3,000 gallons.  Any amount used in excess of 3,000 gallons will be billed $2.78 per 1,000 gallons.

The monthly bulk meter rate shall be $34.43 times the amount of units served by said bulk meter up to 3,000 gallons. Any amount used in excess of 3,000 gallons served by said bulk meter up to the sum of 25,000 gallons shall be at the rate of $2.78 for each thousand gallons.

 

Rate for Solid Waste Removal (Trash Collection):

Ordinance 2021-23

Effective September 1, 2021 thru August 31, 2022 the rate for solid waste removal per residential customer is $19.03 per month.

 

Trash Service Policy

Ordinance 2013-17

Trash is collected each Thursday.  Place trash receptacles out the night before (Wednesday) after 6:00 p.m.  Trash receptacles must be taken in by sunset on the day of trash collection.  All trash set out for collection must be completely wrapped if required by rules of the refuse collector including completely wrapping with plastic any bedding items, carpeting & padding , curtains, furniture & upholstery.
