The City of South Lebanon is seeking candidates for the full-time position of Code Enforcement
Officer. The primary responsibilities of the position are interpreting and enforcing the City’s
zoning and property maintenance codes, investigating zoning and property maintenance
complaints, as well as assisting in the issuing zoning permits for various activities in the City.

The successful candidate must have obtained a high school diploma or GED, one (1) or more
years of related experience and/or training in zoning and building administration and
enforcement; or any equivalent combination of education, experience, and training which
provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of this
position.

The pay range for this position is $24.22 to $33.90 per hour. Entry rate is contingent upon the
applicant’s skills, knowledge and abilities.
