The City of South Lebanon’s Street Sweeping Proposal
The City of South Lebanon invites you to submit a proposal to provide the street cleaning service for the City of South Lebanon during the 2023 season.
The proposal shall include six (6) monthly sweeps between June and November, plus an initial spring cleanup in May. Insurance shall be provided in accordance with the attached contract. The successful contractor will be requested to sign the contract after the award is made by Council.
Sealed proposals shall be submitted in duplicate in writing to the attention of the City Administrator by no later than 9:00 AM on February 15, 2023. The bids will be opened at 10:00 AM on February 15, 2023.
Question should be directed to the City Administrator in writing by no later than February 9, 2023. If necessary, we will issue an addendum to all proposers to clarify the proposal requirements by no later than February 10, 2023.
Specifications will be provided on request.
The City of South Lebanon reserves the right to reject any and all proposals according to its discretion.
Additional Information:
The normal cleanup days are on Tuesday and Wednesday. We will put out temporary no parking signs on Monday to try and get vehicles removed from one side of the street. On Tuesday afternoon, they will move the signs to the other side of the street. The preferred dates for street sweeping are May 23-24, June 27-28, July 25-26, August 29-30, September 26-27, October 24-25, and November 28-29.
We will provide a location to empty the sweeper and provide them with access to water.
