As many of you may be aware, the Village Council recently voted to approve an agreement with the owner/developer of the former Peters Cartridge Factory to annex the property to the Village and to create a Community Reinvestment Area (CRA) to assist in the restoration of this historic landmark, which will include 130 loft apartments and over 14,000 square feet of commercial space.
To address the concerns of the Kings Local School District, Village officials have met with and will continue to meet with school officials to work toward a resolution that is satisfactory to all parties.

The Village of South Lebanon’s interest rate, beginning January 1, 2017, will be 6% per annum on all unpaid income tax, unpaid estimated income tax, and unpaid withholding tax.

The Village appreciates your assistance in identifying and reporting any public works issues or problems so that they can be addressed appropriately.
At their meeting on November 16th, the recently elected Mayor and Council from the 3rd grade class at South Lebanon Elementary joined the Village Council for a fun and educational experience for the students. The kids participated in the meeting with the help of Council members and even enacted their own legislation: “Declaring December 2nd “Jersey Day” at SLE. Many thanks to the students, parents, teachers and school administration for participating in the meeting.
On August 16, 2016, the Village of South Lebanon, Fischer Homes (developer) and Siteworx (contractor) broke ground on the next phase of the Wynstead Subdivision. This road is very important because it will provide current and future residents in the Wynstead Subdivision access to, not only Cochran Road, but Zoar Road as well. The road connection is scheduled to be open by November.

Within the Village of South Lebanon, the keeping of livestock and poultry is only permitted under the following conditions:
- The property must be within the Agricultural or R-1 Single Family Residential District;
- The lot must be at least three (3) acres; and
- The building said animals must be a minimum of 100 feet from any property line.
Except as listed above, no other keeping of livestock/poultry is permitted within the Village.
