The successful candidate must have completed high school or equivalent, preferably with an Associate’s Degree in accounting or related field, and a minimum of (1) year of experience in municipal tax collections or equivalent training and/or experience.  The complete job description may be viewed at

Notice is hereby given that the Village of South Lebanon has passed Ordinance No. 2018-9, in the matter of implementing Sections 3735.65 through 3735.70 of the Ohio Revised Code, establishing and describing the boundaries of a Mixed-Use Community Reinvestment Area (CRA) in the Village of South Lebanon, designating a Housing Officer to administer the Program, creating a Mixed-Use CRA Housing Council and a confirming the duties of the Tax Incentive Review Council.

Sealed Bids for the sale of Village-owned property on Turtlecreek Road will be received by the Village of South Lebanon at the Village Municipal Building, 99 High Street, South Lebanon, Ohio 45065, until Tuesday, July 31, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. local time, at which time bids received will be publicly opened and read.

In general, the project consists of the sale of a 5.001 acre Village-owned parcel located on Turtlecreek Road between Interstate 71 and Mason-Morrow-Millgrove Road (Parcel No. 12-01-102-001).

The free electronic Bidding Documents which includes detailed specifications and bidding requirements may be obtained by contacting Jerry Haddix, Village Administrator, at Hard copies are available for an additional fee and are non-refundable. For additional information regarding the project, please visit the website or call the Village at (513) 494-2296.

The Village will not be responsible for full or partial sets of bidding documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Village.

Bids must be signed and submitted on the separate bidding forms and sealed in a properly identified envelope.

The bid security shall be furnished in accordance with Instructions to Bidders.

No Bidder shall withdraw his/her Bid within 60 days after the actual opening thereof.

The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, waive irregularities in any Bid, and to accept any Bid which is deemed by Owner to be most favorable to the Owner.

Request for Qualifications – Water & Sanitary Sewer Engineering Services

The Village of South Lebanon is requesting sealed Statement of Qualifications from professional engineering firms for the purpose of providing professional services for the design of new water and sanitary sewer lines for the Village of South Lebanon.

The project involves the design of approximately 11,200 lineal feet and gravity and force main sanitary sewer, combined, and the design of a sanitary sewer lift station for the Village of South Lebanon, Ohio, to serve the area of the Village south of the Little Miami River. Also, the Village is seeking professional services for the design of approximately 2,250 lineal feet of new water main.

State Route 48/Mason-Morrow-Millgrove Intersection Update – 4/25/18

Construction will be restarting on the State Route 48/Mason-Morrow-Millgrove Road Intersection Project starting the week of April 30th. Work will begin on the west side of SR48 along Mason-Morrow-Millgrove Road with work on the east side following that work. A 7-10 road closure between John Quin Blvd. and the First Baptist Church is planned during the east side work.  All work is scheduled to be completed by July 31st.

Village Curfew Policy

With the Summer fast approaching, it is a good time to review the Village’s curfew ordinance that was amending in 2017. The Village Council  enacted the following changes to the Village’s curfew ordinance: 1) amending the definition of “minor” to anyone under 18 years of age; and 2) raising the fine for violation of this ordinance from $50.oo to $100.00. The curfew times remain unchanged at 10:30 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Sunday through Thursday and 12:30 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. Friday & Saturday. Village Trash Collection Regulations

Below is a link to Village Ordinance 2013-01 which sets the rules for trash collection, as well as setting the penalty for violating said rules. The following is an overview of the ordinance:


  1. Trash and trash receptacles shall not be set out prior to 6:00 p.m. on the day prior to the day of collection;
  2. All trash & trash receptacles and recyclables shall be set along the curbside;
  3. Bedding items, carpeting and other items (see ordinance) shall be completely wrapped in plastic;
  4. All trash receptacles shall be removed from the curbside by sunset on the day of collection;
  5. The owner of any multi-tenant structure shall provide proper trash receptacles acceptable to the refuse collector for all tenants; and
  6. The fine for violating this Ordinance shall be no more $100.00 for each offense, plus court costs. Each day of violation shall constitute a separate offense.
