River Creek Lofts Multi-Family Development

Recently, the Village approved the preliminary development plan for the 448-unit multi-family residential development at 1771 Mason-Morrow-Millgrove Road. Below is an animation of the proposed development known as “River Creek Lofts”. Construction on the development is planned to start in 2021. Village Curfew Policy

With the Summer fast approaching, it is a good time to review the Village’s curfew ordinance that was amending in 2017. The Village Council  enacted the following changes to the Village’s curfew ordinance: 1) amending the definition of “minor” to anyone under 18 years of age; and 2) raising the fine for violation of this ordinance from $50.oo to $100.00. The curfew times remain unchanged at 10:30 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Sunday through Thursday and 12:30 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. Friday & Saturday. Village Trash Collection Regulations

Below is a link to Village Ordinance 2013-01 which sets the rules for trash collection, as well as setting the penalty for violating said rules. The following is an overview of the ordinance:

 

  1. Trash and trash receptacles shall not be set out prior to 6:00 p.m. on the day prior to the day of collection;
  2. All trash & trash receptacles and recyclables shall be set along the curbside;
  3. Bedding items, carpeting and other items (see ordinance) shall be completely wrapped in plastic;
  4. All trash receptacles shall be removed from the curbside by sunset on the day of collection;
  5. The owner of any multi-tenant structure shall provide proper trash receptacles acceptable to the refuse collector for all tenants; and
  6. The fine for violating this Ordinance shall be no more $100.00 for each offense, plus court costs. Each day of violation shall constitute a separate offense.

If you notice a public works problem or concern in the Village, such as a stormwater issue or streetlight outage, please contact the Village either via phone at (513) 494-2296 or through our website at: https://southlebanonohio.org/citizen-action-line/.  If it is a problem that requires immediate attention, such as a water main break or fallen tree in the road, please contact the Village immediately at (513) 494-2296 during regular hours or Warren County Dispatch at (513) 695-2525 after hours. The Village appreciates your assistance in identifying and reporting any public works issues or problems so that they can be addressed appropriately.
